What a wonderful afternoon of joy and camaraderie was experienced as we unpacked and looked at all the hard work and creativity of the many knitters and crocheting ladies. What a gift to the children at the pre-schools we serve.

Our e’Pap Children’s Feeding Project received over 300 knitted jerseys and 110 crocheted blankets at a handover tea yesterday afternoon, 2 June, organised by Charlotte Cameron and Pam Ruger. The jerseys, blankets, beanies and baby items will be distributed to several schools over the next two weeks, with priority given to the poorest schools.

The ladies were encouraged by a talk given by Pam Jacobs on the wonderful work that e’Pap does, supported by an amazing team of dedicated volunteers and generous donors. Some expressed a keen interest in visiting a few of the e’Pap schools to experience first-hand what takes place within the township communities.

Once again, the e’Pap team would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all the ladies who have generously given their time to lovingly knit and crochet these beautiful items.
